FUNDRAISER

If all our friends on Facebook help him out, Oldman Tagore’s will not have to take his portrait down. His house can continue to exist in its organic, free-flowing musical form, and friends can continue to enjoy his hospitality.

Seconds with the abacus show that if each friend donates R580 we might just be ok...we know some of you don't have R580 to spare, many only have a few bucks, but some may even have more.

The ideal would be R580 and….face it folks, as many European and North American friends know, R580 (about €44, $58 or £37) is barely a dinner out in London, NY or Amsterdam these days. It's a drop in the bucket of what you spend in a month. Yes, we know, there is a crisis going on in the world, unfortunately one of many, but! no matter what the crisis is,

everyone needs a place like Tagore's to help feed their soul & restore their senses. ...no time to waste!

We (Kevin Nair:  who initiated & created Tagore’s 7 years ago, Leroy Jones-Hemmings: manager/partner & Jacques Sibomana) have opened an account for the sole purpose of keeping Tagore’s in its rightful place and encouraging growth. The ultimate aim is to raise the R1.4m ($140K) and buy the building out-right in the weeks/months ahead. Which means: without the burden of rent or a bond, the revenue Tagore’s generates can be better utilised to boost musicians salaries, as well as the efficient staffing and maintenance of Tagore’s. We’ve never been more motivated for the existence of Tagore’s than we are right now.

If you can in any way relate to this then please seriously consider making an investment in the form of a donation.
